Nios Admission Last Dates 2024-25 for 10th & 12th Class
NIOS Admission 2024-25: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offers admission to both secondary and senior secondary levels. NIOS extends its open schooling services not only nationally but also globally, providing study resources and materials in both soft and hard copy formats delivered to your doorstep, much like CBSE, CISCE, and other state boards. Admissions are conducted twice a year, in March (Block 1) and September (Block 2). Interested candidates seeking admission in the 10th and 12th classes can apply for the application form before the respective last dates. Below are the admission dates for both sessions.

Admission Open for 2023-24 September-October Examination
Nios Stream 1 Block II admission typically opens on September 16th each year and closes on March 15th with late fees. If you’re keen on enrolling in the Nios board and aiming to take exams in the October-November session, it’s advisable to apply for admission within this timeframe.
Additionally, for returning students who haven’t passed any subjects in the previous result, there’s an opportunity to retake the exam in this session. This ensures a chance for students to improve their results and progress in their academic journey.

Students who have recently failed in the 10th or 12th classes from any recognized board, or possess failed mark sheets of the 10th and 12th classes after 2020, have the opportunity to apply for admission now. They can take NIOS exams in October 2024. For students who have failed in one or two subjects, they can appear for exams in three subjects, and the marks obtained in the previously passed subjects will be transferred to the NIOS board mark sheet.
